GUIDEMechanics and How to Use

At a Glance

A Blunt debuffer that breaks down enemy Defense skills and attacks with Paralyze and Defense Power Down. Her core strength is lining up with other Blunt Identities to strengthen S1 and S2, and, against enemies with clashable Defense skills or counters, Clashing with their attack skills to land S2 and S3 and help allies' Clashes.

Core Mechanics

  • Bonuses from consecutive Blunt hits: S1 Bludgeon and S2 Thrust gain +2 Coin Power if the next skill on the dashboard is a Blunt skill (Uptie Ⅳ). Because it references the next skill, it does not trigger if she is last in line or there are no other Blunt Identities.
  • Defense Power Down: S2 inflicts 2/4 Defense Power Down on Coin Ⅱ hit, and S3 Suppress inflicts 4 on Coin Ⅰ Heads Hit. For 1 turn, it lowers the Final Power of Defense skills.
  • Paralyze: S1 inflicts 1/3 Paralyze on Heads Hit, and S3 inflicts 3 Paralyze on Coin Ⅱ Heads Hit. S3 also inflicts 4 Defense Level Down on Coin Ⅰ hit.
  • S3's first-strike bonus: +2/3 Coin Power if the target has not yet taken damage from an attack this turn.
  • Passives: The combat passive Breach Defense (3 Envy Resonance; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ) gives +10% damage against enemies that used a Defense skill this turn. The support passive Breaching (5 Envy Owned; unlocked at Uptie Ⅲ) gives +20% damage under the same condition to the 1 ally with the highest HP.

How to Use

Strengthening S1 and S2 requires a Blunt skill to follow, so field her with Blunt Identities of similar Speed (to use her properly, take her to Uptie Ⅳ and pair her with Blunt Identities in the same Speed range). Defense Power Down mainly matters against enemies with clashable Defense skills or counters: Clash those enemies' attack skills with S2 and S3 to land them, making it easier for following allies to break their defenses. Clashable Defense skills are triggered by the first one-sided attack they receive, so trying to push through with one-sided attacks hits the defense before it is weakened. S3's bonus requires landing before anyone else, which is hard in today's Focused Encounters with many fast Identities, so it mainly pays off in regular battles.
