GLOSSARY / Status Effects
Poise
Related names and search terms: Poise, Critical Hit
At a Glance
A status whose Potency raises Critical Hit chance. Count governs activation and persistence.
GUIDEHow It Works
Ordinary Poise gives 5% Critical Hit chance per 1 Potency. A Critical Hit adds a modifier to damage calculation.
Count falls by 1 after a Critical Hit and at Turn End. High Potency cannot sustain the effect once Count runs out.
NOTESCommon Misunderstandings
- Poise Potency does not directly increase Coin Power.
- A Critical Hit does not always multiply final damage by 1.2. Account for Identity-specific bonuses and conditions.

Assumes Poise Count remains and there are no special chance modifiers. Critical Hit chance and Coin Heads chance are separate.
