A Kurokumo Clan Slash Identity with strong Bleed application. His main pattern is using S3 Thundercleave to prepare next turn's bonuses, then using defense's Rules of the Backstreets with Coin reuse on that turn.
Core Mechanics
Preparing the next turn with S3: Setting up S3 grants 1 Cumulus Wall for the next turn at Combat Start. On use, he gains 1 Defense Power Up next turn, and on Clash Win, 1 Dark Cloud Blade next turn. S3 itself inflicts 6 Bleed with Coin Ⅲ and gains +10% damage per negative effect on the target, up to 30%/100%.
Defense skill — Rules of the Backstreets: A clashable counter. +10% damage per negative effect on the target, up to 100%. Coin Ⅰ is reused once with Dark Cloud Blade and once with Battle Ready (once per skill each). With Cumulus Wall, all of these reuse conditions are met unconditionally. While Ishmael's Kurokumo Clan Captain is deployed, all Coins become Unbreakable, and on Clash Lose he gains +3/4 Final Power.
Combat passive — Dark Cloud Blade (3 Lust Resonance; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ): Grants 1 Dark Cloud Blade if 2 or more Kurokumo Clan Identities, including himself, are in battle. When an enemy damages an ally other than himself with a skill, he makes a one-sided attack on that attacker with S1, once per turn. If an ally is defeated or drops below 25% HP, he makes a one-sided attack with Rules of the Backstreets (Uptie Ⅳ). +10% damage against enemies that used a Defense skill and enemies at full HP before the attack begins.
Defense Power Up: S1 Lenticular Rend (1/2), S2 Stormcloud (1), and S3 (1) grant Defense Power Up next turn on use (once per turn each).
Bleed and debuffs: Each attack skill gains Coin Power the more Bleed the target has, up to 2. S1 inflicts Offense Level Down, S2 inflicts Slash Fragility (on Heads Hit) and Attack Power Down, and S3 inflicts Slash Fragility.
How to Use
Normally stack Bleed and debuffs with his attack skills, and after using S3, counter with Rules of the Backstreets the next turn to aim for big damage including Coin reuse; that is the basic flow. However, the counter fizzles if he is staggered. Activate Dark Cloud Blade in a Lust-heavy team so his follow-ups when allies are attacked also add damage. While the passive is active at 3 Lust Resonance, he gains Dark Cloud Blade if one more Kurokumo Clan Identity is in battle. The combination with Ishmael's Kurokumo Clan Captain is especially strong.
