GLOSSARY / E.G.O
E.G.O Awakening Skill
At a Glance
The skill normally selected when using E.G.O. Its effects and targeting differ from Corrosion.
GUIDEHow It Works
Normal E.G.O use selects Awakening. Sin resources are spent when converting the skill to E.G.O; SP is spent before the attack begins.
The displayed Corrosion chance uses the predicted SP after paying the cost, although the actual deduction occurs before attacking. Normally, a prediction of -24 or higher does not Corrode; at -25 or lower, Awakening may change into Corrosion at the displayed chance. Check it before use.
Whether Corrosion exists, and whether its target can be selected, depends on the E.G.O.
NOTESCommon Misunderstandings
- Read Awakening and Corrosion separately rather than combining their effects.
EXAMPLEWorked Example
Selecting Awakening
- Check the E.G.O's resource and SP requirements
- Check Corrosion chance after the projected SP cost
- Confirm the Awakening skill and its target, then activate
The E.G.O selection screen displays Corrosion chance. Starting E.G.O has no Corrosion skill.
