GLOSSARY / Battle Basics
Panic
At a Glance
A state caused by low SP, separate from HP-related Stagger.
GUIDEHow It Works
Reaching -45 SP causes Panic or E.G.O Corrosion, depending on equipped E.G.O and Identity-specific rules.
Panic behavior and recovery conditions are Identity-specific. The name alone does not imply one universal behavior; read the Sanity section and effects.
When using E.G.O at -25 SP or lower after its cost, the displayed chance can produce a Corrosion skill. This is separate from the E.G.O Corrosion state that begins next turn after reaching -45 SP.
NOTESCommon Misunderstandings
- Enemies without SP cannot be assumed to Panic in the same way.
EXAMPLEWorked Example
What low SP can cause
- At -25 or lower after an E.G.O SP cost: a chance of Corrosion
- At -45 SP: Panic or E.G.O Corrosion from next turn
- Check Identity and E.G.O descriptions for behavior and recovery
Identity-specific Panic rules take precedence.
