GLOSSARY / Types and Resistances
Resonance
At a Glance
Selecting multiple skills of the same Sin affinity in one turn. It is separate from the number of stored resources.
GUIDEHow It Works
Multiple allied skills of the same affinity selected in one turn create Resonance. They count even when they are not adjacent in the chain.
Resonating attack skills gain Offense Level, helping Clashes and damage. In general, matching skills farther to the right gain a larger ordinary Resonance bonus.
For Resonance passives, check the required affinity and count. Absolute Resonance also counts toward Resonance requirements.
NOTESCommon Misunderstandings
- A large resource stock does not satisfy a Resonance condition by itself.
EXAMPLEWorked Example
Nonadjacent matching skills also Resonate
- Selected chain: Wrath, Gloom, Wrath
- 2 Wrath skills create Wrath Resonance
- The Wrath skill farther right receives the larger bonus
Exact bonuses depend on Resonance count. Still prioritize strong skills and suitable Clashes.
