GUIDEMechanics and How to Use

At a Glance

A Blunt attacker who Discards S1 to build his own Tremor Count and cycle through his stronger S2 and S3 for repeated Tremor Bursts. Each Burst lets his passive inflict Defense Level Down, improving the damage of allies who attack afterward.

Core Mechanics

  • Discard to build Tremor Count: On use, S2 Gamble, S3 Grinding the Molars, and Guard each Discard 1 of the lowest-ranked skills from his skill slots. Discarding S1 Stay Calm or S2 gives him 3/4 Tremor Count. Slash-separated values indicate different Uptie tiers.
  • S2 — Gamble: On hit, Coin Ⅰ increases the target's Tremor Count by 2/3. If Yi Sang has at least 5 Tremor Count, it triggers Tremor Burst, then reduces the target's Tremor Count by 2.
  • S3 — Grinding the Molars: On use, consumes 10 of his Tremor Count for +1/2 Coin Power. Coin Ⅰ inflicts 4 Tremor, and Coin Ⅲ inflicts 2 Defense Level Down. If he consumed Tremor Count on use, Coins Ⅰ and Ⅲ also trigger Tremor Burst.
  • Combat passive — In Times Like These... (3 Sloth Owned; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ): For every 4 points by which his Tremor Burst raises an enemy's Stagger Threshold, inflicts 1 Defense Level Down, up to 5 per enemy per turn.

How to Use

Use S2 or Guard to Discard S1 and build his own Tremor Count. S2 is a main attack that triggers Tremor Burst once he has at least 5 Tremor Count. It does not inflict Tremor Potency, so the size of the Burst depends on the Potency already on the enemy; Coin Ⅰ of S3, which inflicts 4 Tremor, is his only source of it. S2 adds 2/3 Tremor Count to the target before the Burst removes 2, so only Uptie Ⅳ's +3 keeps the target's Count from falling after the additional 1 Count lost at Turn End. Once Yi Sang has at least 10 Tremor Count, use S3 for 2 Tremor Bursts and Defense Level Down to help subsequent attacks. S3 Discards before checking whether it can spend Tremor Count, so include the Count gained from Discarding S1 or S2. His Burst conditions check his own Tremor Count, which takes time to build. He suits longer battles and can support Tremor Identities that struggle to inflict Count.
