GLOSSARY / Status Effects
Tremor
Related names and search terms: Tremor, Tremor Burst
At a Glance
A status normally used to raise Stagger Thresholds through Tremor Burst. Applying it alone does not deal damage.
GUIDEHow It Works
When an attack triggers Tremor Burst, ordinary Tremor raises Stagger Thresholds according to its Potency. Its Count falls by 1 after Turn End.
Distinguish applying Tremor from triggering Tremor Burst. Amplitude Conversion and similar effects can change its behavior.
NOTESCommon Misunderstandings
- Do not treat Tremor Potency as ordinary additional damage.
- Read each converted Tremor effect separately, even if its name still includes Tremor.
EXAMPLEWorked Example
Turning Tremor into Stagger
- Inflict Tremor on the enemy
- Land an effect that triggers Tremor Burst
- The Stagger Threshold rises
Raising a threshold does not always cause immediate Stagger. Additional effects of converted Tremor are outside this diagram.
