GUIDEMechanics and How to Use

At a Glance

A Burn and Tremor attacker that builds Fire Butterfly Coffin to 30 for enhanced S3. Her full cycle begins after using Dismemberment at High Noon through defense to gain 3 Combat Instinct and a large heal; passive Coffin generation then lets her keep using enhanced S3 regularly.

Core Mechanics

  • Fire Butterfly Coffin: Maximum 30, with at most 20 gained per turn. Landing a basic skill grants 2, and each skill also adds more on use. Every 10 increases Clash Power and reuse Coins. If it exceeds 20 at Turn End, she gains half of the excess as Burn next turn (5 Burn and +2 Burn Count at 30).
  • Dismemberment at High Noon (from the Defense skill Stigmatize): An Unfocused Volley that it turns into at 30 or more Coffin, once per turn. After the attack, she spends up to 30 of her own Burn and recovers (5/20 + Burn spent)% of her max HP, up to 35/50%. She then spends all Coffin and gains 3 Battle Instinct. It does not transform while she has Overheated Coffin.
  • Battle Instinct: Maximum 3. +2 to minimum and maximum Speed, +1 to the Burn Potency and Count inflicted by basic skills, and more damage for skills such as Eject and Eject - High Noon.
  • Combat passive — Feuerfalter [Stigma Workshop] (3 Wrath Owned; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ): With Battle Instinct, gains (value×3) Coffin at Combat Start, or 9 at 3 Battle Instinct. She follows up with Seconded Offensive after certain skills from Sinclair's Dawn Office Fixer and Gregor's Dawn Office Rep, or when their basic skills stagger an enemy.
  • Eject - High Noon (from S3 Eject): An Unfocused Volley that it turns into at 30 Coffin, once per turn. All Coins are Unbreakable Coins. It performs Amplitude Conversion into Tremor - Scorch and triggers Tremor Burst, then grants 1 Battle Instinct and 1 Overheated Coffin after the attack. It does not spend Coffin.
  • Heatproof Coat: Burn damage does not stagger her and cannot reduce her HP below 1. Damage taken from Burn is reduced by 50%, or 75% below 50% HP.

How to Use

Her skills are weak below 10 Coffin early on, so build Coffin while playing carefully. S3 Eject and the Defense skill Stigmatize gain Coffin and Wrath, so they are fine to use from the start. Once she reaches 30 Coffin, fire Eject - High Noon first if S3 is in hand. Then fire Dismemberment at High Noon from her Defense skill to gain 3 Battle Instinct and recover HP. However, on the turn she fires Eject - High Noon, Overheated Coffin prevents her Defense skill from transforming, so be careful when acting with multiple slots. After gaining 3 Battle Instinct, she gains 9 Coffin every turn and can fire the enhanced S3 repeatedly. Above 20 Coffin she starts damaging herself, so if her HP is under pressure, recover early with Dismemberment at High Noon. Pairing her with the other two Dawn Office members adds Seconded Offensive follow-ups.

If you decide to use workshop gear that handles heat, be ready to pay what it costs. Unlike ordinary weapons, which only need to be sharper and sturdier, weapons that give off heat need all sorts of precautions so that their wielder is not caught in that heat.

Of course, weapons that simply spew fire at random and fabrics that resist burning are easy to come by. But a weapon that lets its user finely control exactly as much heat as they want, at the moment they want, and a fabric that blocks the heat itself usually cost a great deal, and you must not neglect the effort of learning to use them.

If you do invest that money and time, there will be that much more work that needs you.

When a Dawn Office Identity other than this unit meets the conditions below,

Dawn Office Fixer Faust uses Seconded Offensive (1 time per 1 turn per Identity)

-At the end of a basic skill attack, used on the target if the enemy hit was staggered (does not activate if it was already staggered when the attack began)

-At the end of Dawn Office Rep Gregor's Dawnsplitter or Crack of Dawn, or Dawn Office Fixer Sinclair's Stigmatize or Blazing Strike, used on an enemy hit (staggered targets take priority)

If Dawn Office Fixer Sinclair is on the field, when a reuse Coin of a basic skill used by Dawn Office Fixer Faust hits,

deal additional Wrath damage equal to the target's Potency (max 10, max 20 per 1 turn)

-This counts as having triggered

The reason for using this weapon, which looks like a suitcase or an instrument case, is clear. First, to blend into everyday life. A weapon that is complex and unwieldy in combat is, precisely because of that inefficiency, more likely not to be recognized as a weapon at all.

Second, the storage capacity that the suitcase shape itself provides. For that reason, weapons shaped to hold things inside are actively used by the Devyat' Association.

Despite these strengths, though, it is not well regarded among those who handle workshop gear. You often hear things like "they'd have gotten stronger if they had put the time spent on this weapon into another one," or "it's gear for modern Fixers who only care about looking cool."

When you meet someone wielding such difficult gear, the fact that they are a high-ranking Fixer or a senior syndicate member... paradoxically means something else. That is why, in the workshops, this gear is called not a suitcase but a coffin. And coffins always come with butterflies.

KEYWORDSEffect Glossary

BurnShared mechanics →
At Turn End, take fixed damage equal to the Potency. After Turn End, reduce Count by 1.
TremorShared mechanics →
When taking damage from a skill that triggers Tremor Burst, raise the Stagger Threshold by the Potency. At Turn End, reduce Count by 1.
Fire Butterfly Coffin
-Max: 30 -Up to 20 can be gained per 1 turn -Increases by 2 on basic skill hits -If this exceeds 20 at Turn End, gain Burn next turn equal to half of the excess (rounded down) - At 30, gain 5 Burn and increase Burn Count by 2 instead The butterflies heated inside the coffin burst out as if to pounce, melting and slicing their target. "This weapon is a bit early for you, Sinclair, but it is good to understand its characteristics." "The many blades inside the coffin offer great convenience in time-critical situations that normally cannot be handled alone, or as a weapon against many opponents."
Tremor Burst
Raise the target's Stagger Threshold by their Tremor Potency.
Tremor - Scorch
-On Tremor Burst, take Wrath damage equal to (Tremor Potency plus Burn Potency ÷ 2), and Burn Count decreases by 1 -When taking damage from a Tremor Burst skill, the Stagger Threshold advances by the Potency -Count decreases by 1 at Turn End (Also affected by effects that change Tremor Potency and Count)
Amplitude Conversion
Convert the target's Tremor or converted Tremor into another type of Tremor. The existing Tremor's Potency and Count are kept on conversion.
Unfocused Volley
- When tossing a Coin of this skill, randomly choose 1 of the attack targets to attack - The 1st Coin always hits the main target - All On Hit effects and that Coin's damage apply only to the target chosen by the above effect
Battle Instinct
-Max: 3 -Minimum and maximum Speed +2 -+1 to the Burn Potency and Count inflicted on enemies by basic skills -Eject deals +(value×5)% damage -Eject - High Noon and Dismemberment at High Noon deal +(value×10)% damage "Back to the main point: besides Singularities, there is one sure way to overcome the penalties that equipment brings. That is effort." "It may sound trite, but whether on a break or in the middle of a commission, I recommend basic physical training and honing your sense for combat." "Of course, in most cases a feel for combat only shows its full value once the fight reaches its climax. It needs warming up, so to speak. A combat sense sharpened that way makes up for the structural flaws of equipment and technique. It is how you raise the floor of your ability, Sinclair. Do you understand?"
Overheated Coffin
-Max: 1 -At Turn End, gain 3 Burn next turn, then remove this effect "But convenience always comes at a price. It creates a structural penalty that Stigma Workshop weapons in their usual form do not have. What makes this inevitable penalty possible to overcome is the Singularity, the pinnacle of City technology." "You know how remarkable Singularities are... ahem. I've gotten off track."
Unbreakable CoinShared mechanics →
This Coin is not destroyed on Clash Lose. If an attack skill contains this Coin, attack with it after taking damage. On Clash Lose, the Power of the remaining unbroken Coin becomes 1.
