GUIDEMechanics and How to Use

At a Glance

A buffer for Charge Identities that uses S1 Retouche on allies to provide Charge Count, Offense Level Up, Shield, and other bonuses at Combat Start. This tank-oriented Tremor and Charge Identity also shares Shield through S2, S3, and defense, taking dangerous attacks with reliable clashes.

Core Mechanics

  • S1 (Duality): It can target allies; in that case, it activates at Combat Start, does not hit, and does not trigger Defense skills. With auto-targeting and in regular battles, the ally earliest in team order is prioritized. It gives the ally 3/4 Charge Count and 1 Offense Level Up, plus Shield (5/10% of her own max HP), 1 Second is Welcome-snipping, and 1/2 Attack Power Up for Charge Identities (the Shield, Welcome-snipping, and Attack Power Up set applies 1/2 times per turn). It cannot Clash, so it is weak when used on enemies.
  • Second is Welcome-snipping: +3 Offense and Defense Level. Charge Identities recover 5 SP when using a skill (once per turn). Additional Slash damage on basic skill hits. At the end of an attack by an ally with this effect, she follows up with Patterning (once per turn). If the target has 2 or more Mark of Shearing, she follows up with Cutout instead and gains Blossom Scissors.
  • Distributing Shield: At Combat Start, S2 Pin and Trim Along the Patterns gives 2 Offense Level Up and a 5% Shield to herself, the ally earliest in team order (prioritizing Charge Identities), and the ally with the lowest HP ratio (+1 and +5% more for Charge Identities). At Combat Start, S3 Coupez dans le Biais gives Welcome-snipping and a 5/10% Shield to the ally earliest in team order and the ally with the lowest HP ratio. At Combat Start, the Defense skill Trimming gives a 5/10% Shield to herself and the 2 allies with the lowest HP ratio.
  • Combat passive — Snipping in the Alteration Shop are Blossom Scissors (2 Sloth and 1 Envy Owned; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ): At Turn End, she gains Shield for the next turn equal to her Inertia of Drifting Count. At 2/3/5 or more Inertia of Drifting Potency, basic skills gain +1/+2/+3 Final Power.
  • Inertia of Drifting: A special Charge. Each cumulative 10 Count spent grants 1 Potency. S2 and S3 spend 5 Count for +2 Final Power. S3 spends 5 more at 5 or more Count to trigger an additional Tremor Burst.

How to Use

Her support is centered on team order, so put a strong Charge Identity first in team order. Every turn, use S1 on the ally you want to support (in Focused Encounters, you can target them directly), boosting their Clash Power and damage while Welcome-snipping's follow-ups stack Mark of Shearing and Tremor. When you want to Clash an enemy with S1, swapping it for her Defense skill fights better. S2 and S3 also hand out Shield to allies on their own. Her highly stable Clashes are another strength. Her own damage scales with Inertia of Drifting Potency, so it is low early on and she suits long fights.
