3 things to understand first

  1. Don Quixote must be in the initial deployment. Bring 6 Sinners plus 6 reserves, HP and SP recovery, and high-Power to beat area attacks.
  2. Winning against an Unbreakable area attack still leaves . Heal beforehand and check action order so a clasher is not ed before their other clashes.
  3. Do not leave Sinners at 30% HP or below. The instant-kill skill cannot be redirected; the targeted Sinner must win, or be healed before the hit.

GUIDEKeys to the fight

Turn numbers indicate a typical sequence. HP loss and Stagger can change the order, so also check the names of the skills the enemy is using.

Find a response based on how you lost

Everyone dies despite winning the area clash
Unbreakable hits still inflict . Winning does not mean taking no damage. Heal before the big attack, then check how many s Sinners can roll with the remaining .
An expected clash became an unopposed attack
A Sinner ed by an earlier area attack cannot execute later clashes. Check area-attack order and the clasher's ; reassign if needed.
Unable to move a red targeting line to another Sinner
cannot be redirected. The low-HP target must win, or receive healing first to rise above 30% HP.
The Barber keeps healing and will not die
She drains HP when hitting targets with . Winning the clash suppresses this healing even if s remain. Beat dangerous attacks rather than simply trading hits.

Before deployment

Prepare recovery and reserves; do not leave HP low

  • Choose 6 Sinners including Don Quixote, aiming for the recommended Lv.48 and III or higher. Don Quixote cannot be a reserve. Set 6 reserves too so the team can keep fighting after losses.
  • Check Slash resistance and resistances against Lust and Gluttony area attacks. Lust and Gluttony are effective for damage too.
  • Prepare HP and SP recovery and a strong area-attack clasher. Save healing skills and resources for before the big attack.

Opening–Turn 3

Build SP and avoid bonuses against the Sewing Target

  • Start with winning clashes to raise allied SP. “” also heals the enemy's SP On Use, so predictions may differ from last turn.
  • “” gains +5 Power against the . Have another fast Sinner intercept it and protect low-HP allies.
  • Unopposed hits on Sinners with let her drain HP. Win clashes against Unbreakable attacks too to suppress healing.

Turn 4 area attack / later big attacks

Heal first, win the area clash, then survive the hits

  • Use a strong against “” Losing lets the first 3 s forcibly activate , so prioritize winning.
  • Even after a win, the first 3 s still inflict . Heal all targets beforehand, including additional targets, and check whether they can survive subsequent attacks while ing.
  • and targets change Before Attack. Do not assume safety from the initial targeting lines. Check actual action order so an earlier area attack does not another clasher.

40% HP or below

Deal damage before further buffs and avoid instant-kill conditions

  • In the latter half, the Barber gains and Scissorblades each turn. Focus attacks during and avoid unnecessarily prolonging the fight.
  • A Sinner at 30% HP or below enables an instant-kill attack that cannot be redirected. Win with that Sinner or heal them above 30% HP before it hits. Do not rely on effects that keep HP at 1.
  • If a deployed Sinner falls, a reserve enters next turn. Check the replacement's SP and resistances, and recover using your remaining healers and high-Power skills.

NOTESUnique effects and cautions

Easy-to-miss details

  • Unbreakable hits remain after a clash win. Distinguish normal On Hit effects from immediate activation that occurs only after you lose the clash.
  • cannot be redirected. Do not rely on effects that keep HP at 1 to prevent its instant kill.
  • Area changes Before Attack. Do not assume the initial display guarantees a Sinner will not be hit.
  • Scissorblade consumption and the cap have reported issues. Do not assume the next big attack will become weaker.

Starts at 10, stage II; reaches III at 20 or more. Minimum 1. Stage and value change offense, defense, reuse, and .

Affected Sinners should avoid losing clashes. Heal before builds up.

The Manager of La Manchaland Don Quixote gains this instead of the normal support effect. On gaining Hardblood, gain 1 extra (up to 5 times per turn). At Turn End, gain 2 and 3 next turn; every 3 cumulative turns, add another 2 (max 6). Heal 3 SP on Win; on defeating an enemy, gain 1 Power Up next turn (once per turn each).

The Manager Identity has different and Hardblood gains and lacks the normal support's . Check the effects actually applied.

The Barber's Offense and s are lowered by 25 in this encounter.

Do not assume excessive leveling is needed based solely on the base Lv.70. Check the current prediction.

Her own self-damage also increases it. Suppressing allied does not guarantee it runs out completely.

Support effect for Don Quixote Identities other than the Manager. At Turn End, gain 1 , 3 , and 3 next turn. Every 3 cumulative turns, add another 2 (max 6). Heal 3 SP on Win; on defeating an enemy, gain 1 Power Up next turn (once per turn each).

Don Quixote can handle strong clashes too. Her is reduced, so do not ignore or low HP. The Manager Identity receives a different support effect instead.

PARTYRecommended teams and preparation

What to prepare first

  • Don Quixote is mandatory: 6 deployed Sinners plus 6 reserves. Check healing resources and each Sinner's response to attacks that cannot be redirected.
