3 things to understand first

  1. Win other clashes before Lucio's major attack to lower its Power and Atk Weight.
  2. After reinforcements arrive, direct Vergilius toward the Nursefather to reduce .
  3. Do not defeat Lucio and trigger “” while remains high.

GUIDEKeys to the fight

Turn numbers indicate a typical sequence. HP loss and Stagger can change the order, so also check the names of the skills the enemy is using.

Find a response based on how you lost

Defeating Lucio immediately leads to a wipe
Incapacitating Lucio activates and brings “”, which scales with . Have the NPC reduce the Eye before making this transition.
Vergilius keeps attacking Lucio
Lucio draws him in through priority clashes and Assist Defense. Have Sinners take over those clashes, then check that the NPC has switched to the Nursefather's dangerous skills.
A single hit breaks through the Shield
and greatly increase damage against Shields. A 600 Shield is not invincibility. Leave strong skills to the NPC and use healing and clashes.
“” evades every attack
High raises Base Power. Use the NPC's many clash rolls to trigger ; do not invite retaliation by feeding it weak attacks it can evade entirely.

Before deployment

Protect the three required Sinners and shared Ampules

  • Recommended Lv. 60. Level Heathcliff, Rodion, and Gregor, and bring resistance to Slash, , and , plus HP/SP recovery.
  • The Sinners share four uses. Avoid spending too many in the opening battle; save a buffer for later accidents.
  • Vergilius joins mid-battle; you lose if he dies. Unlike the LCD team, he does not use Assist Defense to cover everyone.

Lucio alone

Win the other clashes first to weaken the major attack

  • “” appears from the opening turn. It cannot be redirected, so the targeted Sinner must handle it.
  • Each earlier clash win against another attack lowers the major skill's Final Power by 2 and Atk Weight by 1, to a minimum of 1. Check action order so other slots resolve before its clasher acts.
  • Repeated clashes between Lucio and the same Sinner build . Rotate clashers while lowering him to 794 HP to bring in reinforcements.

Vergilius and the Nursefather enter

Direct the NPC toward the Nursefather and reduce the Eye first

  • Lucio interferes through priority clashes with the NPC and Assist Defense. When Sinners take over clashes against Lucio or weaker skills, changes the NPC's targets. Check that he actually handles the Nursefather's dangerous skills.
  • Do not focus only on finishing Lucio at this stage. Have the NPC reduce the Nursefather's so you can handle “” when it appears.
  • Vergilius's 600 Shield is insurance. and can break through it, so have Sinners stop remaining regular skills and keep healing.

While Eye of Precognition is high

Reduce it through Overloaded to weaken Evade

  • Each Eye stack raises “”'s Base Power and damage. Taking it with all 30 remaining is dangerous even after a clash win.
  • Once clashes fill to its cap, each further clash roll reduces the Eye by 1. It also loses 1 when attacked unopposed and 3 on a clash loss. Use the NPC's many clashes.
  • With the Eye active, an additional triggers. Evading every leads to an unopposed retaliation, so do not pile on weak attacks. If possible, help reduce it with high-Power skills or s.
  • At 0, it changes to Overheat. However, it gains stacks at Turn Start and returns to at 30. is not permanently removed.

After Lucio is incapacitated

Reduce the Eye further before “Disposal”

  • The has 1 and is targeted by “”, which cannot be redirected. Another Sinner cannot forcibly take it over.
  • The Nursefather also has 1 on “” turns. Resolve clashes against her other skills first to reduce the Eye as much as possible, then have the target use a strong skill. Heal the target beforehand.
  • Even a clash win's halved damage and disabled critical hits leave five s, , and Bursts. If the target dies, another appears next turn; avoid a chain of casualties.
  • Maintain NPC damage and support until the Nursefather's ending event at 320 HP.

NOTESUnique effects and cautions

Easy-to-miss details

  • Defeating Lucio sooner is not always better. Reduce the Eye sufficiently before entering the “” phase.
  • Vergilius does not provide Assist Defense like the LCD team. Use his Shields and adjust his attack targets.
  • “” cannot be redirected. With high Eye stacks, it is dangerous even after a clash win.
  • If “” evades every , it retaliates. Do not repeatedly feed it only weak attacks.
  • Overheat conditionally makes round-consuming skills Unbreakable. Running out of rounds does not cancel attacks either.
  • Do not apply the hidden Mirror Dungeon boss's resistances, damage, or Lucio kill order to normal 9-42.

When taking lethal damage while another ally is alive, clear and fully restore HP. Every ally's remaining Ampule count decreases by 1 simultaneously.

The Sinners share four uses in this battle. These are not separate counts per Sinner.

Maximum 20. Increases after clashes with Lucio and strengthens Power and damage dealt/taken against its target. Expires at the end of a turn without a clash against him.

Rotate assignments instead of concentrating stacks on one Sinner.

Maximum 30; Power +2. At Turn Start, gain 10 stacks and heal SP equal to stacks ÷ 4. Strengthens and “”.

Reduce it before defeating Lucio, and resolve other clashes first immediately before “” too.

The Overheat state entered at 0 Eye. Attack damage −20%. Converts all s of skills that consume to s. Gains 10 stacks at Turn Start and returns to at 30.

Both weakening and Unbreakable conversion apply. Check the actual effects rather than focusing on variations in the translated Overheat label.

Maximum 10. Power +1 per stack; Power +1 per 5 stacks. The gain cap each turn is at Turn Start ÷ 3.

After the cap, clash rolls trigger . Do not use an opening prediction to judge the entire turn.

Maximum 10. Rounds consumed by specific s. While available, affected skills deal 30% more damage and 150% more damage to Shields.

Running out does not stop attacks. Do not rely solely on Shields.

fixed at 1; targeted by all of Valencina's attacks.

“” cannot be redirected. Prepare the marked Sinner's own skill and heal them beforehand.

Vergilius's attack targets change according to Sinner assignments.

Have Sinners take over weaker skills assigned to the NPC, then check that he switches to the Nursefather's dangerous skills.

PARTYRecommended teams and preparation

What to prepare first

  • Recommended Lv. 60 with Heathcliff, Rodion, and Gregor. Bring Slash resistance, HP/SP recovery, and high-Power skills.
  • Slash works well against both Lucio and the Nursefather. Prioritize NPC assignments and Eye management before affinity.

Early clashes against Lucio

Weaken his opening major attack, then direct the NPC toward the Nursefather in the second half.

Help reduce the Eye

Use NPC clashes and to weaken “”.

Heal the target and prepare a strong clash

Survive “” without redirection and prevent repeated target generation.

One ally can fill several roles. First choose a main fighter who can win Clashes, then assign responsibilities for dangerous attacks and special mechanics.
