3 things to understand first

  1. Have the Prescript's target handle Sloth skills; redirect other attacks to different Sinners.
  2. Use Ryōshū's resources for healing/debuffs and survive until the event.
  3. For attacks left to Vespa's , preserve the one-sided-attack and no-defense-equipped conditions.

GUIDEKeys to the fight

Turn numbers indicate a typical sequence. HP loss and Stagger can change the order, so also check the names of the skills the enemy is using.

Find a response based on how you lost

Enemy SP and Power keep rising early
Hits on the Prescript's target make completion easier. That target should clash against Sloth skills while others redirect remaining attacks. Failed Prescripts still add Grace and ; progression cannot be halted forever.
Sinners die even after Vespa arrives
The NPC does not automatically block everything. Stop the remaining 2 attacks with Sinners. Equipping defense on a target intended for invalidates its condition.
is equipped but never activates
“” prevents defense-skill activation. At 2 , it also cannot be redirected; prepare a winning attack on the designated Sinner.

Before deployment

Prioritize survival and healing for all 4 Sinners

  • Recommended Level 60. Level Yi Sang, Ryōshū, Meursault, and Gregor. If no other ally lives, Ryōshū loses protection from lethal damage.
  • Bring HP/SP recovery and . Ryōshū generates resources by using skills; use options such as Meursault's Chains of Others to weaken strong attacks.
  • Normal form is vulnerable to Pierce; Efflorescence resists all 3 physical types. Gloom and Pride work well afterward. Prioritize necessary clashes and healing over raw damage.

Before Efflorescence

Prevent repeated hits on the Prescript's target

  • Check each turn. Conditions change by stage: Prescript I requires a hit on the target, II a hit from the first slot, and so on.
  • The designated target should handle Sloth skills such as “” while other Sinners redirect remaining attacks. “” disables defense; do not rely on against it.
  • Preventing completion stops the 15 SP recovery but increases and . Before , Grace also rises by 1; repeated failure does not prevent Efflorescence forever.

From Efflorescence to reinforcements

Endure with healing/debuffs until turn 8 or 900 HP

  • Meeting /SP conditions causes Efflorescence; regular skills become Slash too. and strengthen attacks beyond base values, so use current predictions each turn.
  • Ryōshū removes even from damage that would her, and can fight with next-turn attack buffs and resource gains. Preserve allied HP and choose which attacks she redirects.
  • An event at turn 8's start or 900 HP brings Vespa. Reach it through healing and debuffs rather than forcing a kill. Before he joins, lowering SP to end Efflorescence is another option.

After Vespa joins

Separate Assist Defense assignments from Sinner clashes

  • Of the basic 6 attacks, Vespa clashes against the rightmost 3. Leave the far-left attack to ; stop the middle 2 with Ryōshū or other Sinners. Check that the NPC actually has the intended targets.
  • intercepts one-sided attacks on allies without defense skills equipped. Do not clash against that attack or equip defense on its target. Defense in another slot of that same Sinner also affects eligibility.
  • Vespa can lose clashes, and losing all Sinners causes defeat. III's finisher can be clashed regardless of , but avoid needlessly redirecting NPC assignments.

Around 300 HP

Survive until the NPC's finish

  • Procuration's Immanent Yearning variant prioritizes Vespa. It has 5 s and lacks the 90% clash-loss damage reduction of ordinary “”. Confirm it remains assigned to Vespa.
  • It ends the turn after attacking; heal beforehand rather than relying on later actions. At 300 HP, the closing sequence ends with Vespa's “Harpoon Impalement - There It Is.”

NOTESUnique effects and cautions

Easy-to-miss details

  • Ryōshū cannot die only while another ally survives. NPC arrival does not permit victory after all Sinners die.
  • Preventing Prescripts adds ; it does not stop all buffs.
  • requires no defense skill equipped. Adding or against the one-sided attack can prevent support from activating.
  • “” disables defense activation. can also make it unredirectable.
  • The Immanent Yearning variant lacks ordinary Annihilate's clash-loss mitigation. Avoid needlessly redirecting attacks meant for the NPC.

Ryōshū gains +1 slot and +10% damage against Spiderweb. Damage that would removes her and grants 1 next turn (once per turn). use grants 1 resource matching the skill and 1 of a scarce affinity (twice per turn). Cannot retreat.

Ryōshū cannot die while another ally lives. Spend resources on healing and enemy debuffs while protecting allies too.

-2 against the Index; damage taken +20%. Becomes Sora's priority target.

Redirect attacks with other Sinners to avoid concentrating hits on the marked Sinner.

Completed by hitting the Prescript's target. Granted without ; Grace gained through this Prescript caps at 3.

Redirect to other Sinners and prevent hits.

Completed by hitting the Prescript's target with the first slot's skill or killing the target. Granted at I; Grace caps at 6.

Check the first slot and designated target together; prioritize necessary clashes.

Completed by ing or killing the target. Granted at II; Grace caps at 9.

Heal low-HP Sinners or those near , and stop strong attacks.

A Prescript to eliminate every obstacle. Granted at III.

Later, prioritize NPC support and survival rather than only preventing Prescript completion.

Max 9. +1 per 3. progresses at 3/6/9.

HP conditions also advance stages; do not assess progression from Grace alone.

Offense/s +1; heal 15 SP at Combat End. II grants +2 and 30 SP; III grants +3 and 45 SP.

Check the current stage against base values.

Max 2. Damage +25% per stack. While Effloresced, Final Power +1 at 1 stack, or +3 at 2 instead.

Preventing Prescripts still strengthens the enemy. At high , prepare for skills that cannot be redirected.

Max 2. Damage +50% per stack. While Effloresced, 1 stack grants +2 Final Power; 2 grant +1 Plus Power and +3 Final Power. Certain skills consume this as .

Substantial buffs after Vespa joins. Do not underestimate the skills left to Sinners.

Max 100. At Turn Start, gain 1 per 10 and 1 per 20.

Enemy debuffs gained through failed Prescripts and other effects. Do not disrupt survival preparations just to build stacks.

range +1, Offense/s +3, and +1 Potency gained from skills.

An Efflorescence buff; distinguish it from normal-form Power and resistances.

range +1, Offense/s +2, and +1 Potency/Count gained from skills. Damage increases by 25% plus the percentage of HP lost (max 100%).

Use NPC support later while Sinners stop remaining attacks.

Vespa's support intercepts one-sided attacks on allies with no defense skills equipped.

Do not clash against attacks left to or equip defense on the targeted Sinner. Also check that the NPC support effect is active that turn.

PARTYRecommended teams and preparation

What to prepare first

  • Recommended Level 60. Level the 4 available Sinners, bringing HP/SP recovery and . Use Ryōshū's resource generation to recover.
  • SP reduction such as can help end Efflorescence before Vespa joins. Later, prioritize the SP floor and NPC support conditions.

Clash handlers other than the Prescript's target

Limit hits on the designated target and prevent SP recovery.

Ryōshū healing and resource use

Use survival support to sustain healing and debuffs.

Handlers for attacks Vespa leaves

Maintain support conditions and handle only attacks left to Sinners.

One ally can fill several roles. First choose a main fighter who can win Clashes, then assign responsibilities for dangerous attacks and special mechanics.
