A Blunt support tank that grants Erudition to allies using Discard and improves their durability with Shield when they discard skills. His own Sinking application is modest.
Core Mechanics
Distributing Erudition: At Combat Start, S2 Moment of Erudition gives Erudition equal to his Insight to 1/2 random allies and himself, prioritizing allies with Discard skills who have low Erudition. Identities with Erudition gain Shield equal to (Erudition×1.5)% of max HP when they discard a skill, once per turn.
Combat passive — Study Hall (2 Gloom Resonance; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ): Each time an ally other than himself discards a skill, gives 1 Erudition to that ally and himself, once per skill and 3 times per turn. At Turn End, he gains Pierce and Blunt DMG Up next turn equal to the number of allies who discarded skills, up to 3.
Discarding skills: On use, S1 Studious Dedication discards the lowest-rank skill, S2 discards 2 such skills, and the Defense skill Fixated Study discards the highest-rank skill. Insight becomes the rank of the last discarded skill. He also gains Shield when S1 itself is discarded. He gains his own Erudition on S1 Clash Win (once per turn) and at Combat Start of S2.
S3 — Scorch Knowledge: Before attacking, spends all Erudition to increase Insight, and Coin Ⅲ inflicts a random split of Sinking Potency and Sinking Count totaling his Insight. After the attack, if Insight is 4 or more, it returns to 1 (or 3 if this skill defeated an enemy).
Support passive — Diligent Learning (5 Gloom Owned; unlocked at Uptie Ⅲ): While in backup, when the 1 ally with the highest max HP discards a skill, they gain Shield based on the discarded skill's rank, once per turn.
How to Use
Pair him with allies who discard skills (such as Dieci Association Identities), cycling Erudition through S2 and his passive to limit allies' damage taken with Shield. He discards S1 to gain Shield while building Erudition through S1 Clash Wins and S2, then converts it into Sinking and damage with S3.
