3 things to understand first

  1. Aim for Level 40 and III or higher, prioritizing Slash and Pride. -focused teams can strengthen the enemy's Minus skills.
  2. Offset and attack before “” to break its Shield: 50 in 5.5-23, 200 in the final battle.
  3. Prepare to finish the final battle from around 20% HP. Concentrate strong skills and during and the closing phase.

GUIDEKeys to the fight

Turn numbers indicate a typical sequence. HP loss and Stagger can change the order, so also check the names of the skills the enemy is using.

Find a response based on how you lost

Lowering the enemy's SP made it stronger
Minus s are stronger on Tails. The enemy also has unusual SP rules: winning clashes lowers his SP. Recover by removing , choosing winning clashes for your team, or ing him before he acts.
“” is too powerful to beat
Power rises if the Combat Start Shield remains until use. Break it with earlier attacks, then clash against the base maximum of 25 in 5.5-23 or 28 in the final battle.
The attacks meant to break the Shield were d
Offset the enemy's with a defense skill. Preparing only a handler and a finisher clash handler is insufficient if the earlier attacks are d.
The enemy healed just before defeat
At 20% HP or lower in the final battle, patterns change to include an unredirectable “” and a . Assemble strong skills before 20% and finish him during .

Before deployment

Enable your main Slash/Pride damage dealers

  • Aim for Level 40 and III or higher. Both encounters resist Blunt, Lust, and Gloom; prioritize leveled Slash/Pride attackers.
  • Deploying 5 Sinners under the limit of 6 can give extra slots to the first deployed damage dealer. If reducing the team size, check that enough actions remain to Offset and handle dangerous clashes.
  • Prepare both an early Shield breaker and a later clash handler for “”. Check actual attack order rather than only choosing fast Sinners.

5.5-23 · Opening

Build SP through Clashes you can win

  • Assign winning clashes such as “” to main attackers. Each clash your team loses lowers enemy SP and strengthens Minus s; avoid multiple clashes with little chance of winning.
  • Use defense or resistance against powerful attacks, Offset , and damage the boss. Once the main team's SP rises, focus damage toward .
  • Check Slash resistance and remaining HP on the first Sinner to trigger “”. Avoid having the initiating attack leave your main attacker ed by the .

5.5-23 · Turn 4 “To Claim Their Bones”

Remove 50 Shield with earlier attacks

  • “” gains 50 Shield at Combat Start. If any remains on use, Power +5; break it with clashes or one-sided attacks that resolve before the skill.
  • Offset so it does not stop earlier attacks. Prepare or another skill that can beat the maximum of 25 after the Shield breaks.
  • ing him before “” acts is another option. Concentrate damage during , defeat him, and enter the dungeon.

5.5-24 · Dungeon through final battle

Carry resources in and prepare for 200 Shield

  • Prepare HP, SP, and resources before the final battle. Recheck resistance and “” rather than treating it as the same enemy from the previous stage.
  • The area “” has 6 and 200 Shield; remaining Shield gives +10 Power for a maximum of 38. Resolve several Shield-breaking attacks first, then stop it with the later clash.
  • Exploit the ×2 Pride multiplier and Slash weakness to reach the 60% HP . Do not exhaust every finisher against weak attacks; save damage for too.

Final battle · Around 20% HP

Finish before the dangerous single-target version

  • At 20% HP or lower, increases every turn and no longer expires at Turn End. The single-target “” prioritizes low-HP Sinners and cannot be redirected.
  • Finish from around 20% during or a turn with strong skills available. If follow-up damage is insufficient, also prepare healing for low-HP Sinners and protection.
  • Allowing a kill doubles and enables healing. Do not take dangerous clashes with weak attacks even when little enemy HP remains.

NOTESUnique effects and cautions

Easy-to-miss details

  • A single user does not make the fight impossible, but an entire team amplifies the disadvantage against Minus s.
  • also uses Minus s. Do not assume its low displayed minimum means it is easy to beat.
  • Making only the finisher clash handler too fast can start the clash before the Shield breaks. Always check attack order.
  • 5.5-23, the finale, Normal, Hard, and Mirror variants have different values. This page covers the Normal story encounters.

While active, stores damage taken for “”' fixed damage. Normally expires at Turn End; at 20% HP or lower in the finale, gains 20 every turn and stops expiring.

Prevent the finisher from hitting with Shield remaining, then focus damage to avoid a prolonged closing phase.

Unusual SP rules: losing clashes raises the enemy's SP; winning clashes lowers it. Minus s tend to roll higher at lower SP.

Avoid pushing the enemy to low SP through or clashes your team loses.

Gained at Combat Start; strengthens clashes if still present on use. First encounter: 50 / +5. Final battle's area version: 200 / +10.

Arrange other attacks to remove it before the “” clash begins.

PARTYRecommended teams and preparation

What to prepare first

  • Aim for Level 40 and III or higher with Slash/Pride damage dealers. If a Blunt-focused team lacks damage, review attack types too.
  • Prepare Shield-breaking damage, an Offset, and powerful skills or to clash against “”.
  • Use dungeon resources and Gifts in the finale. No solo strategy or specific Gift is required; start with a team that can the boss using your available main attackers.

Slash/Pride damage

Damage the boss and Shield, then progress from to defeat. Adjust deployment order if using fewer Sinners.

Evade Offset handler

Enable Shield-breaking attacks and preserve the intended attack order.

Finisher clash handler

Stop “” after breaking the Shield; also prepare for late s and unredirectable attacks.

One ally can fill several roles. First choose a main fighter who can win Clashes, then assign responsibilities for dangerous attacks and special mechanics.

STATUSBasic stats

Stats for 5.5-24. Deployment limit: 6 Sinners. Separately covers Normal 5.5-23 and the 5.5-24 dungeon final battle. The dungeon version appears first. Hard, BokGak, and Mirror Dungeon HP values and extra buffs are excluded.
