3 things to understand first
- Each turn, equip Defense s on the two Sinners with .
- Defeat every Needlekin to cancel the side-seam skill in the three-turn cycle.
- “” has no 80% reduction. Use the clasher's resistance or to limit damage.
GUIDEKeys to the fight
Turn numbers indicate a typical sequence. HP loss and Stagger can change the order, so also check the names of the skills the enemy is using.
Find a response based on how you lost
- Sinners become unable to act and are killed
- High lets the Unclashable Pick-stitch skill inflict , followed by fixed damage equal to 99% max HP. Start recovery by equipping defense every turn on Sinners with .
- Area skills have too much Power to beat
- Each Needlekin adds 1 Final Power to the body. Cry of the Cocoon adds another 2 on turns divisible by three; in the second half, it adds 3 every turn. Check beyond base maximum Power and prioritize Needlekin kills early. Shopping toward Customer Lv. 45 and Ruby also helps.
- “” deals heavy damage despite a clash win
- “” has four s but no 80% damage reduction on a clash loss. Assign a Sinner who is not weak to Pierce and Gluttony, or use sufficiently strong . It differs from “” and “”.
- ed Needlekin act, or the body cannot be ed
- The Hand-stitch support skill makes Needlekin perform extra attacks ignoring . The body is also immune to inability to act on turns with the Cry. Defeat Needlekin outright and do not abandon clashes expecting to the body.
Before the B2F battle
Check Customer Lv. 45 and required deployment
- Shop toward Customer Lv. 45 and Ruby. Outside Identity levels do not raise dungeon levels.
- Ryōshū, Meursault, and Outis are required. Fill remaining slots with Pierce damage to kill Needlekin, high-Power area-skill clashes, , and HP recovery.
- Meursault's adds two resources of his skill's affinity on use, twice per turn. Its survival effect requires another ally alive at Turn Start.
Start of every turn
Remove Tongue-pinning Needle by equipping defense
- applies to two random Sinners. Check those two before arranging attacks.
- Equipping a Defense on an affected Sinner removes and reduces by 1. The condition is equipping defense, rather than activating it.
- Leaving it through Turn End adds 3 . Pierce hits reduce but also add Count, so do not rely on taking hits to remove it.
- Sinners with can also use it against “”. Check Power and the body's current buffs.
Phase 1 · Three-turn cycle
Defeat summoned Needlekin to stop the area attack
- The Turn 1 Assemble skill summons three Needlekin next turn. On Turn 2, clash with the body's area attack while concentrating spare fast attacks on Needlekin.
- Needlekin have 85 HP and Pierce resistance ×1.5. alone leaves them able to attack through Hand-stitch support, so focus damage to finish individual targets.
- On Turn 3, “” is canceled if no Needlekin remain when used. Aim to eliminate them before the body acts.
- Each surviving Needlekin adds 50% major-skill damage, then grants next-turn Attack Power when disposed of after the attack. If you cannot kill them all, prepare for area damage; do not expect body to stop it.
Regular and area attacks from the body
Distinguish skills with and without 80% reduction
- “” and “” are Unbreakable, but winning reduces damage by 80% and prevents from that skill's damage. Assign strong skills to area clashes.
- “” is an Unfocused Volley: each attacks one of its targets. It does not hit every target three times.
- “” lacks the same 80% reduction. On-hit remains after winning, so use a resistant Sinner or .
- Winning against “” reduces the clasher's by 2. Use it to lower stacks when a Sinner with can win.
Body at 1,087 HP · Phase 2
Prepare for an immediate turn end and fight without relying on Stagger
- At 1,087 body HP, the turn ends immediately and Phase 2 begins. Do not postpone healing or Needlekin kills assuming every remaining action will resolve.
- The second half uses a two-turn attack cycle and grants +3 Final Power every turn. Immunity to inability to act means you cannot plan around safely damaging a ed body.
- , heal remaining Unbreakable damage, and attack with Pierce. The 2 gained next turn after crossing a Threshold also creates an opening.
- At 5 or more , an Unclashable Pick-stitch skill is added; a Sinner brings “”. Keep checking equipped defense in the second half and finish before dangerous stacks accumulate.
NOTESUnique effects and cautions
Easy-to-miss details
- Remove by equipping defense. Leaving it adds 3 at Turn End.
- The body's support makes Needlekin attack even while ed. Defeat them to limit and major skills too.
- “” lacks the 80% reduction on a clash loss found on the other area skills.
- At 1,087 HP, the turn ends immediately. In the second half, the Cry persists every turn and grants immunity to inability to act.
- The Pick-stitch check occurs after the −1 from taking Pierce damage. Having exactly 5 before the hit does not always mean being .
applies it to two random Sinners each turn. Equipping defense removes it and lowers by 1. If left through Turn End, gain 3 and remove it.
Check affected Sinners before arranging attacks, then equip Defense s.
A special . Taking Pierce damage adds 1 Count and removes 1 stack. At Turn End, gain 1 and lose 1 stack. At 5 or more, enables extra body skills and redirection restrictions.
Remove and use clash wins against the button skill to limit buildup.
Maximum 2; cannot act while active. When attacked, Count +1 (three times per turn). At Turn End, take 15 HP damage, lose 5 , and reduce this effect by 1. A hit from “” deals fixed damage equal to 99% max HP.
The follow-up is Unbreakable, so ordinary clash wins alone cannot protect you. Manage to prevent in the first place.
Gained on Phase 1 turns divisible by three. Final Power +2. Unending, Unavoidable Stream of Customer Complaints grants immunity to inability to act on turns with the Cry.
Stop the three-turn major attack by defeating every Needlekin, rather than through .
Persists every turn in Phase 2 and grants +3 Final Power. Immune to inability to act while the Cry persists.
Maintain clashes and healing while damaging the second half, without relying on .
At Turn Start with −20 SP or lower, gain 1 ; at −45 or lower, also gain 1 .
Lower body SP through clash wins. Unbreakable attacks still remain even on Tails.
Meursault gains two extra resources of the skill's affinity on use (twice per turn). If another ally lives at Turn Start, cannot die from damage that turn. Cannot retreat.
Use him for resources and taking hits, while keeping other allies alive too.
Raised through department-store shopping with eyeballs; determines dungeon Identity levels.
If struggling, check unvisited shops and aim for Customer Lv. 45 and Ruby.
PARTYRecommended teams and preparation
What to prepare first
- Shop toward Customer Lv. 45 and Ruby. Check Defense s and resistances on the required Ryōshū, Meursault, and Outis too.
- The body takes ×1.2 Pierce, Lust, Sloth, and Gluttony damage. Needlekin take ×1.5 Pierce, so Pierce works well against both. Beware the body's Blunt ×0.5 and Pride ×0.75.
- Alongside strong clashes and healing, prepare Pierce/Gluttony resistance or for “”. Check sin resistances after use too. Needlekin inflict extra on targets with Pierce or Envy resistance of at least ×1.5.
Fast Pierce damage to kill Needlekin
Eliminate Needlekin before the body acts to cancel its major skill and lower Final Power.
High-Power area-skill clasher
Win against “” and “” for 80% less Unbreakable damage.
Evade, resistance, and HP recovery
Prepare for “” without 80% reduction and repeated second-half attacks. Check defense on every affected Sinner to remove .
One ally can fill several roles. First choose a main fighter who can win Clashes, then assign responsibilities for dangerous attacks and special mechanics.
