A Bleed and Rupture Pierce Identity that grants Attack Power Up to herself and allies at Combat Start with S2 In Finely Ground Mistfall, providing reliable early clashes. In Bleed teams, Bloodfeast develops Blooming Thorn, and longer battles can enable enhanced S3 Ascendant Don Quixote Hardblood Arts - The Finale.
Core Mechanics
S2's buffs (main skill): At Combat Start, gives 1 Attack Power Up to herself and the 1 ally with the lowest max HP, and spends up to 30 Bloodfeast to give 1 Blooming Thorn per 10 Bloodfeast (up to 2 times per turn). If the recipient is a Bloodfiend, it adds 1 more Attack Power Up and 2 Blooming Thorn. This "ally" includes herself as a Bloodfiend, so she also receives the extra (how the extra is handled when Bloodfeast cannot be spent cannot be read from the effect text). +1 Coin Power if the target has at least 6 Bleed (+1 per 6 Bleed, up to 2, at higher Uptie).
Spending Bloodfeast and self-damage: At Combat Start, S1 Begone... and S2 spend Bloodfeast to hand out Thorns (prioritizing Bloodfiend allies). If she cannot spend Bloodfeast, she gains 5 Bleed herself. If a higher-ranked kin ally spends Bloodfeast that same turn, she waits until that ally has spent it.
Blooming Thorn: +1 Defense Level per 2, up to 5. When the bearer takes damage, it inflicts 1 Bleed on the attacker and decreases by 1. For this Identity, Thorn reaching its maximum raises its stage, increasing the Bleed and Rupture inflicted by basic skills by (current stage − 1).
Defense skill — Don Quixote Hardblood Arts 15: Parasol: A clashable counter. On use, reduces the Bleed Count of the 2 allies other than herself with the highest (Bleed × Bleed Count) by 3 (2 more for Bloodfiends), and increases Bloodfeast by (Bleed Potency before reduction × Bleed Count reduced). Bleed disappears when its Count reaches 0. Grants 4 Blooming Thorn on Clash Win.
The Finale: Branches from S3 The Festival Will End before use if she has 25 or more Blooming Thorn. +1% damage per 5 Bloodfeast Consumed, up to 50%; gives Festive Fever and Blooming Thorn to herself and allies (up to the highest Resonance), and spends all of her Blooming Thorn after the attack.
Combat passive — Hardblood Thorn (3 Lust and 2 Envy Owned; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ): Gains 1 Blooming Thorn each time an ally other than herself takes Bleed damage or spends Bloodfeast, up to 3/5 times per turn. Heals HP equal to 20% of basic skill damage dealt (up to 10 per skill; at full HP, the excess goes to the ally with the lowest HP ratio).
How to Use
The basic approach is to use S2 from the start, tilting Clashes in your favor with Attack Power Up for herself and allies. Paired with allies who inflict Bleed, Bloodfeast builds up, S1's and S2's Thorn distribution works, and she avoids self-damage (5 Bleed). Her Defense skill can Clash while turning allies' Bleed into Bloodfeast, and Lust covers its resources. The Finale requires 25 or more Thorns and takes time to trigger, so there is almost never a chance to use it twice or more in a battle. Treat it as a bonus if you get to fire it. Even in teams that do not involve Bleed, she can fight with S2's buffs and her high base power.
