An unconventional tank that supplies Bloodfeast through self-inflicted Bleed, then converts lost HP and accumulated Bloodied Hand into both heavy damage and healing with S3 The Unforgivable Sin. Best suited to Focused Encounters supporting Bloodfiend allies that consume Bloodfeast.
Core Mechanics
Supplying Bloodfeast: Through the always-active combat passive Bloodfeast, while he is in battle or on the deployment list, Bloodfeast increases from turn 1 by the Bleed damage taken by all characters (shared by everyone; it resets when the battle location changes). On use, S1–S3 give him 10 Bleed. S1 gives 15 more at 50% or more HP, and S2 gives 10 more if Ailing Heart is below 5.
Bloodied Hand: He gains 3 with Coin Ⅱ of S1 and S2 (1 or 2 at lower Uptie) and 3 with Coin Ⅰ of S3 (2 at lower Uptie). On use, S2 gives 10 Bleed and 3 Hand (2 at lower Uptie) if Ailing Heart is below 5. At 5 or more, it instead spends up to 60 Bloodfeast for 1 Hand per 6. Stage Ⅱ (Offense Level Up) at 10 or more, and stage Ⅲ at 20 or more (each basic skill hit additionally inflicts 1 Rupture and 1 Bleed). The maximum is described inconsistently in the data, so it is not stated definitively here.
S3 — The Unforgivable Sin: +1.5% damage per 1% HP lost (up to 90%; 1%, up to 60%, at lower Uptie). On use, spends the Hand above 10 and heals (amount spent×3) HP. +1 Coin Power if it spent 10 or more, and the final Coin is reused at 20. Heals 50% of damage dealt on hit (up to 100 per skill), and heals 10% of max HP after the attack.
Defense skill Faded Patience and Ailing Heart: At Combat Start, at 40% or more HP, he gains 5 Bleed and triggers his own Bleed up to 3 times; below 40%, he spends up to 20 Bloodfeast and heals the same amount. Either way, he gains 3 Ailing Heart. Ailing Heart increases by 1 at Turn End and grants 1 Defense Level Up per 3. Below 40% HP, basic skill hits also heal HP.
Combat passive — Self-destructive Dedication (5 Lust Owned; unlocked at Uptie Ⅱ): At Turn End, restores (10 − Ailing Heart) SP to the ally with the lowest SP (÷2 at lower Uptie). He negates 1 hit that would bring his HP to 0 and stays at 1 HP that turn (once per battle).
How to Use
Take attacks while raising Aggro and harming himself with S1 and S2, building Bloodfeast and Hand. Once his HP is down and Hand has built up enough, fire S3 to gain healing and damage at the same time. Maximum output often requires a second cycle of skills. He has only a single Stagger Threshold at 80%, and after his self-damage drops him below 80%, a single enemy hit staggers him. If needed, deliberately get the Stagger out of the way early. More actions mean more self-damage, so a later position in team order is best.
