3 things to understand first
- Offset s with or to prevent extra .
- Defeat Soon-to-bloom Flowers before “”.
- Assign “” to a Sinner who can also win the next 2 es.
GUIDEKeys to the fight
Turn numbers indicate a typical sequence. HP loss and Stagger can change the order, so also check the names of the skills the enemy is using.
Turns 1–4, approximately
Win Clashes with strong skills and offset Evades
- Start with es you can win while your SP is low. reduces SP, making subsequent es harder.
- Offset “” by targeting it with a faster Sinner's or . This prevents repeated s from building up .
- Flowers begin appearing on turn 3. Handle their attacks alongside Dongbaek's, and build resources for dangerous area attacks.
Turns 5–6, approximately
Reduce the flower count before stopping “Magnificent Spring Breeze”
- On turn 5, Dongbaek defends and the flowers are replenished in a grown state. Winning a against “” defeats the flower, so use this turn to remove them.
- The following “” gains +5 Final Power per remaining flower. Without flowers it rolls 16–20; with 4 remaining it rolls 36–40.
- After clearing flowers, answer Spring Breeze with strong skills or . The normal first-phase pattern has 2 Spring Breeze slots, so assign an answer to both.
- If you defeat flowers on the Spring Breeze turn, those attacks must resolve first. Assign faster Sinners to flowers and slower Sinners to with Spring Breeze.
After transitioning at 50% HP or less
Assign your intended duelist to “Must Cover With Dirt”
- In the second phase, “” follows a pattern involving Spring Breeze. Reaching the HP boundary early changes the turn timing, so check the enemy's current skill names.
- The Sinner ing with “” becomes the duelist from next turn. Choose someone with high Level and SP who can use strong skills or .
- Everyone except the duelist being trapped in flowers at once is part of this mechanic. The rescue method differs from ordinary captures.
The 2 Clashes during Dueling
Beat “Withering Flower” twice, then attack during Stagger
- The duelist must win 2 es against “”, which rolls 8–11. Dongbaek gains 3 each time she loses a .
- At 6 or more petals, Dongbaek s at Turn End and your allies are freed. Prioritize winning the duel rather than attacking flowers to rescue them.
- After winning the duel, focus strong attacks on the ed Dongbaek. If she survives, continue managing and Spring Breeze.
NOTESUnique effects and cautions
Easy-to-miss details
- “” also inflicts [On Use]. Winning the does not prevent all from this skill.
- Soon-to-bloom Flowers strengthen Spring Breeze. Flowers trap allies. Target the former to reduce Spring Breeze's power.
- Spring Breeze's power changes with the flower count. Predictions made while flowers remain do not necessarily reflect the after they are defeated. Check action order too.
- Lowering SP does not change Dongbaek's Heads/Tails odds. At -25 or lower, she also gains 2 , so partially lowering SP can strengthen her attacks. at -45 causes , but she resists and during .
- Turn numbers describe the usual pattern. If you reach 50% HP early or cause , prioritize the enemy's current skill names when deciding your actions.
At Turn End, if below 5, take SP damage equal to the value × 5 and reduce by 1. At 5 or more, take Sloth damage equal to the value as a percentage of Max HP and enter .
Even 4 costs 20 SP, so staying below 5 is not automatically safe. Prevent hits and offset s.
An ally is trapped in a flower and cannot act. Ordinary also reduces SP.
Normally, defeat the corresponding Flower to rescue the ally. For allies trapped by , win the duel instead.
All allies except the duelist enter . Each time Dongbaek loses a with “”, she gains 3 petals. At 6 or more, she s at Turn End.
The duelist must win 2 es. The flowers cannot be destroyed during the duel.
PARTYRecommended teams and preparation
What to prepare first
- Aim for Level 35 or higher on your main units, starting with Identities that lose es. Check their skills and passives through III too.
- The deployment limit is 7. If fewer Sinners are trained, another option is deploying 4–5 and using the extra action slots gained in deployment order. You have fewer actions on turn 1, so still account for attacks left unanswered.
- Prepare 2 Sinners with strong skills or for the turn with 2 Spring Breeze slots. Check whether your team's skills supply the necessary .
- If your roster cannot cover the es, consider borrowing a Support Identity. No specific Identity is required to clear this fight.
Main duelist
A Sinner with reliable Level and SP who can win 2 consecutive es using strong skills or . Check their remaining skills and resources before the duel starts.
Slash / Pride / Gluttony attacker
Dongbaek takes 1.5× Slash, 2.0× Pride, and 1.5× Gluttony damage. Flowers are also weak to Slash, Pride, and Gluttony. Prioritize winning es before exploiting weaknesses.
Evade offsetter
Use a faster Sinner's or . Instead of attacking with everyone each turn, spend one slot on offsetting to limit buildup.
Spring Breeze Clash specialist
Prepare high-power skills or that can with Spring Breeze after flowers are removed. Avoid spending all necessary resources or SP just to deal damage.
One ally can fill several roles. First choose a main fighter who can win Clashes, then assign responsibilities for dangerous attacks and special mechanics.
