3 things to understand first
- To avoid attrition, choose Run., Run., then Don't run. to skip the battle. Every Sinner recovers 20 HP and SP, and you gain Cooled Tear.
- If you fight, the event deals 15 HP damage to every Sinner. Aim for Level 33 and III or higher on your main units; check remaining HP and healing resources.
- Prioritize beating “”, reaching at least 3 to reveal the Head. Use Pierce and Pride to and break it, then attack during the all-Part .
GUIDEKeys to the fight
Turn numbers indicate a typical sequence. HP loss and Stagger can change the order, so also check the names of the skills the enemy is using.
Find a response based on how you lost
- The event starts a battle you wanted to avoid
- Choose Run. the first and second times, then Don't run. the third time. Stopping earlier or running a third time deals 15 HP damage to everyone and starts the battle.
- The Head does not appear
- Beat “” to raise the enemy's to at least 3. Its Turn End check reveals the Head next turn; it is not available from the start.
- The Head overwhelms you after appearing
- The Head's attacks roll up to 18 and 20. Save strong skills and resources before it appears, then focus Pierce and Pride to and break it.
Event choices
Choose between fighting and passing through with recovery
- Choosing Run., Run., then Don't run. avoids combat, restores 20 HP and SP to every Sinner, and grants Cooled Tear. Choose this to preserve your team for later fights.
- Choosing Don't run. on the first or second choice, or Run. on the third, deals 15 HP damage to every Sinner and starts combat. Victory grants Hot Tears.
- Cooled Tear grants 1 next turn when hit. Hot Tears reduces Wrath damage taken by 10% and grants 1 next turn when hit. Each Sinner's on-damage effect activates once per turn.
Battle start / before the Head appears
Build Sorrow through easier Clashes
- Account for the initial 15 HP damage. Use resistances and Defense s against charges you cannot beat, and keep “” away from Sinners with heavy .
- “”'s base range is 7–11, making it easier to beat than the other attacks. Prioritize its to prevent SP loss and a raised Threshold.
- Each win adds 1 . Weakening starts at the next Turn Start; the Head appears the turn after ending with at least 3 stacks. Do not assume the remaining attacks that same turn are already weakened.
After the Head appears / finishing the fight
Stagger and break the Head, then finish the Bull
- Focus Pierce and Pride on the Head. With 179 HP and 29, it is easier to break than the Body. Also save answers to its maximum rolls of 18 and 20.
- ing the Head s all Parts next turn. Breaking it also grants lasting 3 , so focus damage to break it.
- Use follow-up attacks on the breaking turn, then return to the Body afterward. The Head does not remain targetable every turn; finish the fight during the all-Part opening.
