GUIDETeam Building and Rotation

At a Glance

A team for longer fights, built from Burn-applying Identities that attack while collectively increasing enemy Burn. Variants include physical Burn, Burn and Tremor with Dawn Office and Thumb units, and Dark Flame, which amplifies Burn damage through Magic Bullet Outis.

Strengths

  • Many priority picks gain Coin Power or Power based on the target's Burn. Building Burn raises the whole team's damage.
  • Many requirements are modest, such as at least 6 Burn or +1 per 6 Burn, up to +2. This suggests that even a small number of Burn users can support the core pattern.
  • Firefist Office Survivor is the anchor. Every skill from S1 to S3 adds Burn Count, almost sustaining Burn alone. His passive, which increases another enemy's Burn Count after killing or Staggering a Burning enemy during Wrath Resonance, is supplementary.

Rotation

Adding Dawn Office, Thumb, or You Branch units

Dark Flame variant

  • Dark Flame applied by Outis's Magic Bullet Identity and Magic Bullet E.G.O deals Pride damage equal to Dark Flame × the target's Burn at Turn End. More Burn means more damage; its Pride affinity also works against Wrath-resistant enemies.
  • Reach at least 3 Magic Bullets, use the Magic Bullet E.G.O alongside at least 4 Resonance, then use S3 at 7 Magic Bullets to reset to 0. Repeat.
  • Magic Bullet Outis's S3 consumes substantial SP and has a 50% chance to hit allies at 10 SP or less. Support her SP with benched Liu Assoc. South Section 3, and omit the You Branch or Dawn Office Identities that inflict Burn on themselves.
  • Best against a single boss. Slow to get going and poor against ordinary groups.

Weaknesses and answers

  • Wrath is the most common affinity among the priority picks, with 8 of their 30 Base Skills, so Wrath-resistant enemies are somewhat troublesome. The Dark Flame variant can use Pride damage instead.
  • The enhancement conditions are modest, so open slots can also take strong general-purpose Identities without Burn. If a priority pick is missing, check the flexible and alternative slots below.

A guide based on the team members' effects.(Update date: 2026-10-29)

Team Builds

Example lineups: 7 deployed Sinners

Physical Burn (standard)

A lineup consisting entirely of Burn-applying Identities. Damage rises with accumulated Burn, so it works without the Dawn Office or Thumb packages. Add Hornet and Don Quixote to the 5 priority picks, and support Burn Count from the bench.

  1. Firefist Office SurvivorGregor · Season 5

The anchor that keeps Burn Count from running out.

  2. Heishou Pack - You Branch AdeptHeathcliff · Season 6

A main attacker that builds Burn and Battleblood Instinct for enhanced S3.

  3. The House of Spiders: The Thumb NursefatherRodion · Season 7

When The Eye of Precognition runs out, unleash Disposal for Burn and Tremor.

  4. Blade of the House of SpidersRyōshū · Season 7

S3 Rend Space [空間斬] accelerates Burn damage.

  5. Liu Assoc. South Section 3Yi Sang · Standard

Keeps the team running by supporting SP and spreading Burn.

  6. Lobotomy E.G.O:: Hornet 【Alteration】Meursault · Walpurgis Night

    Supplies Burn Count through Spore.

  7. Cinq Assoc. East Section 3Don Quixote · Standard

Stacks Nerve Strike to wear down a single target. Also works outside Burn teams.

Burn and Tremor (Dawn Office + Thumb)

Combine Burn from the 3 Dawn Office members with the Thumb package's Tremor, converting Tremor Bursts into Wrath damage through Tremor - Scorch. Higher damage than physical Burn, but both Burn and Tremor Count need attention.

  1. Dawn Office FixerSinclair · Walpurgis Night

Transforms to spread Burn Count. Dawn Office follow-ups also generate resources.

  2. Dawn Office FixerFaust · Walpurgis Night

A damage dealer that builds Coffin for enhanced S3 and Dismemberment at High Noon.

  3. [Dawn Office Rep](persona:1216)Gregor · Walpurgis Night

Crack of Dawn distributes Dawnherald while supporting SP and durability.

  4. The House of Spiders: The Thumb NursefatherRodion · Season 7

Uses The Eye of Precognition and Disposal. Deploy alongside the Apprentice.

  5. The House of Spiders: The Thumb ApprenticeHeathcliff · Season 7

The Duel Escalates enables repeated Tremor Bursts.

  6. The Thumb East Capo IIIIMeursault · Season 6

Adds Tremor through Savage Tigermark Rounds' Unbreakable Coins and enhanced S3.

  7. Blade of the House of SpidersRyōshū · Season 7

A damage slot that accelerates Burn.

Dark Flame (Magic Bullet Outis)

Dark Flame applied by Magic Bullet Outis and the Magic Bullet E.G.O deals Dark Flame × Burn as Pride damage at Turn End, multiplying Burn's damage output. Pride damage can also burn through enemies resistant to Wrath. Best against single bosses and weak against ordinary groups. Outis's S3 can shoot allies at low SP, so omit the You Branch and Dawn Office Identities that inflict Burn on themselves.

  1. Lobotomy E.G.O::Magic BulletOutis · Walpurgis Night

Reach at least 3 Magic Bullets, use the Magic Bullet E.G.O with at least 4 Resonance, then use S3 at 7 Magic Bullets to reset to 0. Repeat this cycle.

  2. Firefist Office SurvivorGregor · Season 5

Every skill from S1 to S3 increases Burn Count, sustaining the Burn used by Dark Flame.

  3. The House of Spiders: The Thumb NursefatherRodion · Season 7

A Nursefather that applies Burn and Tremor and handles attacks with The Eye of Precognition.

  4. Blade of the House of SpidersRyōshū · Season 7

A damage dealer that accelerates Burn.

  5. Lobotomy E.G.O:: Hornet 【Alteration】Meursault · Walpurgis Night

Spore supplies Burn Count to keep Burn active.

  6. Cinq Assoc. East Section 3Don Quixote · Standard

Stacks Nerve Strike to damage a single target while adding Burn.

  7. Liu Assoc. South Section 4Ishmael · Standard

Gains bonuses from allies' Burn application and adds Burn Count with S3.

Pairs and trios

Groups that work well together through affiliations and other synergies

Dawn Office trio

Deploying all 3 completes the Dawn Office's coordinated follow-ups, supplying Burn Potency and Count alongside Gloom and Envy resources. Their raw damage exceeds the Firefist option. All are Walpurgisnacht-exclusive, so choose according to your roster. Adding the Thumb package shifts the lineup toward Tremor - Scorch.

  • Dawn Office FixerSinclair · Walpurgis Night

Transforms at 40 SP and spreads Burn Count through area S2. The other 2 Dawn Office members restore his SP, enabling an earlier transformation.

  • Dawn Office FixerFaust · Walpurgis Night

Builds 30 Fire Butterfly Coffin for enhanced S3 and Dismemberment at High Noon. Burn damage cannot Stagger her or reduce her HP below 1.

  • [Dawn Office Rep](persona:1216)Gregor · Walpurgis Night

At 30 Light of Daybreak, enhanced S3 Crack of Dawn grants all allies Dawnherald, increasing damage from Burn-applying skills by 10%. Also supports SP recovery and durability.

Thumb pair (Nursefather and Apprentice)

The Nursefather reads attacks with The Eye of Precognition, while the Apprentice builds The Duel Escalates for repeated Tremor Bursts. While the Nursefather has The Eye of Precognition, a hit from the Apprentice's Base Skill triggers his own La Spada di Palermo follow-up once per turn. The Apprentice and the You Branch Adept are both Heathcliff, so choose one.

  • The House of Spiders: The Thumb NursefatherRodion · Season 7

Handles attacks with The Eye of Precognition, then unleashes enhanced Disposal for Burn and Tremor when it runs out. Rodion can also use the healing E.G.O Into the Sunset, Pursuance, and Indicant's Trial.

  • The House of Spiders: The Thumb ApprenticeHeathcliff · Season 7

At 5 The Duel Escalates, enhanced S3 triggers repeated Tremor Bursts and gains Textbook to grow stronger. When the Nursefather's eye is overheated, he gains Assist Defense to protect him.

You Branch trio

The Lord Hong Lu swaps Heishou units through defense, alternating the 2 You Branch units whenever they leave standby. They are fragile, so avoid losing clashes.

  • Heishou Pack - You Branch AdeptHeathcliff · Season 6

The Lord's order is used as Base Skill 3, letting him build Battleblood Instinct and Burn while saving enhanced S3.

  • Heishou Pack - You BranchSinclair · Season 6

Gains 3 Bloodflame [血炎] whenever leaving standby or returning, enabling S2 reuse and Unbreakable Coins on S3.

  • The Lord of HongyuanHong Lu · Season 6

A commander outside the Burn keyword that coordinates a three-hit S3 sequence with Heishou and lets an incoming You Branch unit use S3 after a defense swap.

Priority picks

The team's core: include these Identities where possible
  • Firefist Office SurvivorGregor · Season 5

The team's anchor. Every skill from S1 to S3 increases Burn Count, letting him sustain Burn almost single-handedly. Higher enemy Burn also raises his Coin Power.

  • Heishou Pack - You Branch AdeptHeathcliff · Season 6

Enemy Burn raises his Coin Power, while his own Burn also improves damage. Can survive an otherwise lethal hit once.

  • The House of Spiders: The Thumb NursefatherRodion · Season 7

Applies Burn with S1–S3 and gains Coin Power from the combined Burn and Tremor total. His passive raises damage based on the main target's Burn.

  • Blade of the House of SpidersRyōshū · Season 7

S2 and S3 apply Burn, with Power bonuses based on the combined Burn and Bleed total. S3 Rend Space [空間斬] gains up to +5 Base Power from that total.

  • Liu Assoc. South Section 3Yi Sang · Standard

All of S1–S3 apply Burn, while his passive supports allies' SP. S3 reduces Burn Count by 2, making him easier to replace than other priority picks.

Flexible slots

Candidates for slots left after the priority picks
  • Cinq Assoc. East Section 3Don Quixote · Standard

Gains Haste from Poise, exploits Speed differences, and builds 3 Nerve Strike before using S3. Burn is a bonus, but her self-sufficiency makes her easy to fit into an open slot.

  • Cinq Assoc. East Section 3Hong Lu · Standard

Builds 3 Nerve Strike on the same enemy and uses Coin reuse to raise Burn and damage. Do not deploy with Don Quixote, since they compete over Nerve Strike.

  • The Thumb East Capo IIIIMeursault · Season 6

Savage Tigermark Rounds enable Unbreakable Coins and S3, but Burn application stops after ammunition runs out. Choose him or Hornet; he fits better in lineups involving Tremor.

  • Lobotomy E.G.O:: Hornet 【Alteration】Meursault · Walpurgis Night

Spore increases Burn Count each turn to keep Burn active. Area attacks make him strong in both Regular and Focused Encounters.

  • Lobotomy E.G.O::Magic BulletOutis · Walpurgis Night

Dark Flame lowers Defense Level and adds Dark Flame × Burn as Pride damage, working even against Wrath-resistant enemies. Watch her SP costs.

A Burn attacker enhanced at enemy Burn thresholds of 6 and 10. Cannot add Burn Count herself, so pair her with Count suppliers.

  • Liu Assoc. South Section 4Ishmael · Standard

Low Speed lets allies apply Burn before she attacks, enabling bonuses from turn 1. S3 also adds Burn Count.

  • Liu Assoc. South Section 4 DirectorRodion · Standard

Identities kept on the bench for their support passives
